Affordable Online Veterinary Consultations for Ongoing Medication
MyVetScript connects pet owners with experienced UK veterinary surgeons for remote prescription consultations. If appropriate following a clinical assessment, a written prescription can be issued for ongoing treatment, helping you access medication conveniently and responsibly.
Eligibility check takes approximately 2 minutes. No payment is taken at this stage.

How MyVetScript Works
A structured clinical process designed to determine whether an online consultation is appropriate for your pet.
Online Eligibility Check
Complete a short online assessment about your pet, their current condition and the medication requested. This helps us establish whether the service may be suitable before any clinical records are requested.
Clinical records are requested
If your pet appears eligible, MR Vet Ltd will request the relevant clinical history from your registered veterinary practice. The records are reviewed before you are invited to book a consultation.
Attend your online consultation
Where sufficient clinical information is available, you will be invited to book a secure video consultation with an RCVS-registered veterinary surgeon. A written prescription may be issued following the consultation where clinically appropriate.
Before You Begin
MyVetScript is intended for stable, ongoing conditions. The remote service cannot prescribe antibiotics or other antibacterial medicines, antifungals, antivirals, antiparasitic medicines or controlled drugs. It is not suitable for emergencies, new or worsening symptoms, or cases requiring a physical examination.

For suitable cases, the process moves from initial screening through to clinical review, consultation and a final prescribing decision. Each stage is designed to ensure that remote care is appropriate and supported by sufficient veterinary information.

2. Practice details
You provide the contact details for your pet’s registered veterinary practice.
3. History request
MR Vet Ltd requests the clinical history from your veterinary practice.
4. Veterinary review
A veterinary surgeon decides whether a remote consultation can be offered.
5. Consultation
Suitable cases receive a link to book and pay for a secure video consultation.
6. Clinical outcome
The veterinary surgeon issues a written prescription, provide additional recommendations, or advise that an in-person assessment or further investigation is required.
