MyVetScript is a trading name of FTC Vets Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16833417.

FTC Vets Ltd operates the MyVetScript website and online platform, including the triage questionnaire, administration, technology services, marketing and non-clinical customer support.

FTC Vets Ltd does not provide veterinary advice, veterinary diagnosis, veterinary treatment, veterinary consultations or veterinary prescriptions.

Veterinary Services

MyVetScript provides an online platform through which pet owners may complete eligibility and triage questions and request consideration for a veterinary prescription consultation.

All clinical veterinary services associated with MyVetScript are provided by MR Vet Ltd, an RCVS Registered Veterinary Practice.

MR Vet Ltd is solely responsible for all clinical decision-making relating to animals referred through the MyVetScript platform.

Where a request appears potentially suitable to proceed, the information submitted through MyVetScript will be made available to MR Vet Ltd for clinical review. MR Vet Ltd may then request further information or obtain relevant clinical records from the animal’s registered veterinary practice before deciding whether a consultation can be offered.

MR Vet Ltd is solely responsible for:

• reviewing the information submitted;
• requesting and reviewing clinical histories;
• determining whether a consultation may be offered;
• appointment booking;
• collecting consultation fees;
• conducting veterinary consultations;
• maintaining clinical and client records;
• making all prescribing decisions;
• issuing prescriptions where clinically appropriate;
• clinical governance; and
• professional responsibility for the veterinary services provided.

Relationship Between FTC Vets Ltd and MR Vet Ltd

FTC Vets Ltd and MR Vet Ltd are separate legal entities.

FTC Vets Ltd provides the MyVetScript platform and associated non-clinical services. MR Vet Ltd provides and is professionally responsible for all veterinary and clinical services.

Consultation fees are payable directly to MR Vet Ltd. FTC Vets Ltd does not receive payment from clients for veterinary consultations or prescriptions.

Service Eligibility

Submission of information through MyVetScript constitutes a request to be considered for a veterinary prescription consultation by MR Vet Ltd. It does not create a veterinary-client-patient relationship with FTC Vets Ltd and does not, by itself, establish that the animal is under the care of MR Vet Ltd.

Submission of a request does not guarantee that:

• A consultation will be offered;
• An appointment will be available;
• A prescription will be issued; or
• Any particular veterinary medicine will be prescribed.

Following submission, MR Vet Ltd may request relevant clinical records from the animal's registered veterinary practice, subject to the appropriate authority or consent, to determine whether sufficient clinical information is available and whether a consultation may appropriately be offered.

Each request is assessed individually. Any decision to offer a consultation, place an animal under veterinary care, or prescribe a veterinary medicine is made solely by the attending veterinary surgeon acting through MR Vet Ltd.

Emergency Situations

MyVetScript and the associated prescription consultation service are not emergency or urgent-care veterinary services and are not continuously monitored.

Do not submit a MyVetScript request if your animal requires urgent veterinary attention.

If your pet is experiencing an emergency, has deteriorated, developed significant new symptoms or requires urgent assessment, contact your usual veterinary practice or the nearest emergency veterinary provider immediately.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, design elements and other materials, is the property of FTC Vets Ltd or its licensors unless otherwise stated.

No material may be copied, reproduced, distributed or otherwise used without prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability

FTC Vets Ltd takes reasonable steps to ensure that the non-clinical information provided through the MyVetScript website is accurate and current. However, general website information is not a substitute for an individual veterinary assessment and should not be relied upon as veterinary advice.

FTC Vets Ltd is not responsible for the clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing decisions or other veterinary services provided by MR Vet Ltd.

Nothing in this Legal Notice excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Governing Law

This Legal Notice and the use of the MyVetScript website are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable consumer law provides otherwise.
